It's no surprise to us that Norwich is in the top ten of shopping destinations.
From traditional high street to shopping centre to small independents, Norwich has got all the household names that you would expect from an important city
plus lots more. The first shops start less than 5 minutes walk from our door

Chapelfield Shopping Centre
They've just celebrated their 5th anniversary and with around 90 shops, cafes & restaurants, it's great that they're just down the road from us.
The Norwich Lanes
Small independent and creative shops in the cobbled streets and narrow alleys of old Norwich
And we couldn't leave the subject of shopping without mentioning Jarrolds, a Norwich institution and a fantastic independent department store
Eating Out
There's no shortage of great pubs, cafes, restaurants in the city and many of them are within easy walking distance of Wedgewood House.

About The Norfolk & Norwich Festival
The Norfolk and Norwich Festival is held each year in May - internationally renowned it has become a highlight of the region’s cultural calendar. Over sixteen packed days the Festival presents more than 100 performances featuring a superb line-up of companies and ensembles from all over the world. The Norfolk & Norwich Festival programme takes in music, theatre, dance, circus and visual arts as well as a host of spectacular free outdoor events.
