Without a doubt, one of the things that guests appreciate about our location is how close we are to the city centre. It really is just a 5 minute walk to the first shops and 10 minutes to the market square. Walking home from restaurants and theatres is a pleasant stroll. Despite being at the end of one of the main routes into the city centre, we are still situated in a pleasant residential area. Take a walk on Google streetview and see for yourself!

We’re also really close to many transport links.  The bus station is just around the corner, 5 minutes walk away.  There are a dozen or so other bus stops on St Stephens Street also about 5 minutes away going to many different locations.  The railway station is about 10-15 minutes away in a car or a bus or about 20 minutes walk.  There is a taxi rank at the railway station and the bus station should you prefer.

Many local businesses are also close by with Aviva’s Head Office in Surrey Street being a short walk away.  The University of East Anglia, the John Innes Centre and the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital are just a bus ride away.

The city centre’s main shopping areas are all within easy walking distance.
